My presentation at the Legislative Luncheon

2203 News

I have been involved with the Northwest Florida Manufacturers Council here in the Panhandle of Florida for a little over a year now. Last December I attended the Summit in Destin, which was incredible, and look forward to continued involvement in the future. On January 15th I had the opportunity to speak to an audience (250+ attendees) of business professionals and state delegates about the Economic Environment of our area here in the Panhandle. My two main points that I made the case for were the tax exemption on manufacturing parts and equipment, and the tax exemption on commercial leases and rents. The delegates that were present were Sen. Greg Evers, Rep. Doug Broxson, Rep. Mike Hill, and Rep. Clay Ingram. After I spoke, they were on a panel for a Q&A session. All the delegates echoed the need for the tax exemptions in order to support and grow the manufacturing industry in our state.
